Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

Parents are the best teachers.

Disagree

Personally, I do not agree with the statement that parents are the best teachers. This is becuase teachers have more usuful know-how and skills as well as a more comprehensive experience of teaching.

First, teachers provide their students with practical assistance. In general, teachers are qualified people by a special test and have a lot of experience. It means that they know well how to teach young people such as students and teenagers. For example, studying math is quite difficult for some students. In this case, parents can not encourage them becuase almost parents do not have deep knowledge about math. Therefore, solving the difficult math questions, the teachers would have the know-how to resolve those questions.

Additionally, the students can learn partnership in the school. Generally, the students spend a lot of time to live the others in the school. Friends can have some impact on students by sharing commom interests. Through these relationship, they are greatly influenced by what they teach. For instance, the students have an assignment of team presentation. In this case, the students have to cooperate to resolve the assignment. It ,however, is difficult becuase they have differnt characters, knowledge and behavior. To make far great results, they share their all. Through the experience, they learn cooperation.

To sum up, teachers have a much greater influence on students than parents. They can provide know-how and use their experience to help students develop. It is quite obvious that the role of teacher far outweights that of parents.

Nice work HM,

I won't bother with spelling because a spell checker can do that easily enough, but there some minor word errors and a consistency issue to look at. Here are some things you'll benefit from right away:

1. most parent's don't, not almost parents. Almost don't means they do. (paragraph 2, line 3)

2. learn through- partnerships are not something you learn, but something you learn from, which is what I think you were trying to say. (paragraph 3, line 1)

3. spend time + gerund (paragraph 3, line 1)

4. be concise. "students have an assignment of team presentation">students have team presentation assignments. We can still make this better by saying: when students are assigned group presentations, they have to…

5. Your conclusion is incomplete. It ignores your second example (students learning through partnerships in school).

Fix these points and reply to my post with a revision (don't edit your original work above, just hit "reply to post"). I'll edit out any other problems from there.

I am so sorry, it is too late..

Personally, I do not agree with the statement that parents are the best teachers. This is because teachers have more useful know-how and skills as well as more comprehensive teaching experience.

First, teachers provide their students with practical assistance. In general, teachers are qualified through a special test and have a lot of experience. It means that they know how to teach young people such as students and teenagers. For example, studying math is quite difficult for some students. In this case, many parents can not encourage them because most parents do not have deep knowledge of math. Therefore, for solving difficult math questions, teachers would have the know-how to resolve those questions.

Additionally, the students can learn through partnerships (see my first response, point 2) in school. Generally, the students spend a lot of time living the others at school. Friends can have some impact on students by sharing common interests. Through these relationships, they are greatly influenced by what they teach. For instance, when students are assigned group presentations, they have to cooperate to resolve the assignment. It ,however, is difficult because they have different characters, knowledge and behavior. To make far greater results, they share their all. Through this experience, they learn cooperation.

To sum up, students have more important teachers than parents. School teachers have a much greater influence on students. They can provide know-how and use their experience to help students develop. It is quite obvious that the role of teacher far outweighs that of parents. Furthermore, the students can learn partnership from group working in the school. For those reasons, parents are not the best teachers for students.
